After upgrading my iPhone SE to iOS 11, the clock on lock screen disappearred.
When I restart, the clock reappears, but again it disappears.
Is there any other solution other than restarting the iPhone?

Looks like this is (maybe) a perm fix. I have had this issue since 11 and re-boot no luck, reset and reinstall from backup no luck, reinstall totally clean no luck. But this easy fix / workaround seems to have worked:
Settings -> Display -> View -> Zoomed and then Settings -> Display -> View -> Standard.
So far almost a full day and no disappearing clock.
Once support told me to bring the telephone to service and let apple fix it. Any idea what happens if I do that? How is it possible that not everyone has that problem?

Same here. Bought an ip8 begin october and rigt away problems with lock screen bug and notifications. Told me to wait for an update. 4 months later still no fix.
Did you have also problem with swiping right to turn on a camera? I only get a background picture instead of camera picture.
Yes. Part of the problem is the camera crashes when you attempt to launch from the lock screen.

You’d have the same problem on an 8. I first had the issue on a 7 and it followed me to the X.

@ Jamie 01 it's Feb 24 2018, 2 fixes after bug still occur. Anyone else having the issue?
Yeah I have a bank widget from RBC. Will remove it and see how it goes. Thanks for the advise. Hope this is it.
Deleted the RBC widget, no help. I hope Apple reads all these and works on fixing this very annoying issue. 😖

I talked with senior tech support in apple about this issue they just said we are working on that very soon we ll give you software update.
