Hello Kylebull85.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If I'm understanding correctly, you are having trouble sending videos to your wife's Android phone. I will be happy to help.
Check out the following steps to see if it helps from our article: If you can‘t send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try these steps first
- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- Check your network connection. To send a message as iMessage or MMS, you need a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection. To send an SMS message, you need to have a cellular network connection. If you turn on Wi-Fi Calling, you can send SMS messages over Wi-Fi.
- Check with your carrier to see if the type of message you’re trying to send, like MMS or SMS, is supported.
- If you’re trying to send group MMS messages on an iPhone, go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging. If you don't see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging on your iPhone, then your carrier might not support this feature.
- Make sure that you entered the correct phone number or email address for the contact.
Cheers.
BS they’re lying or you got an idiot answering your question! This is a clear software glitch and needs to be fixed!
Goto settings>camera>video record. Set record to 720p at 30fps.
What worked for me was changing the Settings > Camera > Formats > Most Compatible
What if it’s a video already recorded? I’m so frustrated I’ve sent the video before the update with no issues.
I found a solution!! The new update turned my cellular data off. My phone has only been using wifi for the last month.
Mine is on and still not work
It is not the carrier!!! I agree! This just started after I download IOS 11. It is an apple problem and most annoying.
How do you change to 1080p?
This did not work for me on my iPhone 7.
will_drift,
Thank you so much for taking the time to do all that for us very frustrated iPhone users. Much appreciated!
So now we wait......
That is the same problem Im getting.. They say there are getting lost of Code.... instead of the video
Yes! I have been having this issue! I even factory reset my phone! This is the only fix that worked! THANK YOU.
How do we use our carriers system? I have an new iPhone 7. I too switched from a 6 😩
I checked. Mine is updated to the most recent.
iOS 11 cannot sent videos over text to android phones
