It hasn’t been fixed and Apple support of any type has been useless. One tech on the phone tried to suggest that when I installed the update ‘if there was an issue with the GPS/bug/damage to it’ that the new update would automatically shut it off/disable it - something he stated was programmed to happen with the iPhones and thus has left me with a broken GPS for what almost a year now!
I’m in the same boat fully believe it’s a software issue since my wifes gps stopped working at the same time. Apple needs to step and get the issue resovled or I guess this is a way to get more sales. Ha I’m going to a droid
Not the issue
I take that back. It worked once. Not working again! So frustrating!
Gus:
Why do you mark this issue as "Solved" when it is obvious from all the posters here that it isn't?!!
None of those suggestions worked for me either. Have you ever gotten resolution?
Nope Genius Bar wasn’t t helpful and I still doesn’t work! So frustrated!
Nope. None of the suggested solutions worked.
Keep WiFi and Bluetooth ON.
That does not help. My bluetooth and wifi are always on.
The next thing that I would try is deleting Maps and the other navigation apps and reloading them.
Doubt if this would work since none of the apps using location service works, Google map, Apple map, Waze, Maprika, etc.
So it's not worth trying?
Gus didn’t mark it solved. The OP did.
My iPhone 6 since upgrading can’t find GPS
