My iPhone 6 since upgrading can’t find GPS

I have an iPhone 6 and ever since upgrading to iOS 11, I can no longer use any mapping apps (Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps) as it says ‘No GPS trying moving outdoors’. It’s frustrating because I use the feature daily and now I can’t get it to function. I have numerous times reset both the Network Settings and the Location and Privacy Settings to no avail.

After much exasperation, mine's working again. Here's what happened:

1. I replaced all apps. That didn't work.

2. I replaced the phone and restored it. Still no luck. The new, cloned phone, still did not locate my current location. As it turns out, I probably did not need to replace the phone. It was under warranty, but cost $112.

3. I restored it back to zero. It worked.

4. I restored all the data. It's still working.

I have the same problem too! I hate it! Can’t use ANY GPS app. Good thing I have my ol garmen GPS. I thought Apple was more reliable than this. They better not rush this update and leave is with big problems like this! We already are dealing with significant battery drain but that’s another thing to rant about. Love my iPhone but this hit me while i was traveling. Tried doing EVERY recommendation solution. Surfed the whole net

Has anyone (Apple?) come up with a real solution for not having the GPS available for mapping apps? I know several users firsthand who recently started experiencing the mapping apps not following you along your route. It senses where your departure point is, but never updates location. Can't just be the need to replace an antennae for all these users. I have a 6s. Does this happen on newer iPhones as well?

I talked with 3 different Apple Support people, restored my phone twice, and my GPS still doesn't work. It totally ***** because I travel for my job and use Waze and maps daily. I have a 6s and I have not been able to get it fixed. I don't know what else to do. Doesn't make sense to me that a bunch of antenna's just happened to go out. I think it's a software issue but why can't 3 different Apple Support people get it resolved?

Recently some iPhone 6 users including me reflect that there is something goes wrong with the GPS on their iPhone. The location on Apple Maps, Google Maps is way off, varies from a few meters and a few kilometers. Waze can't use at all. And this frequently happens after the update. There is no doubt that GPS is very helpful and important for us in our daily life. we never get lost and always know where we are. without GPS we have problem on road direction.

Need Apple to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you.

This doesn’t work. Standing on Coronado Beach, my phone isnt able to be located by gps. I downloaded an app that monitors my gps signal and can reset my gps as needed. It also shows me how many sattlites my phone can see. I can rearly see any sattlelites. There is something wrong with either the hardware or the software. Because the problem became apparent after an update to version 11, I am guessing it is software.

I have never had resolution.

I spent over 2 hours at the Genius Bar (after waiting 6 weeks or so for an appointment).

I spent over 2 hours on the computer with an Apple technician.

I spent a period of 4+ hours on the phone twice with a guy from Apple and the second time was after the logs and such were sent to the engineers with requests for ideas to solutions.

The guy on the phone after all of this then informed me I could send it in for $200+ dollars to repair or buy a new phone.

It ceases to work even now! It is the biggest annoyance in my every day life!
