How do I remove the music player from the lock screen in iOS 11?
I need to see my notifications. I don't use the music player... I will NEVER use the music player. It's taking up valuable real estate.
Thanks!
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.0.1

So is there an update on this?
This quite annoying and eating up real estate on the lock screen !!
Fix it Apple, we don’t need or want the music player control on our lock screens all the time !!!!!!!!
I have iPhone X iOS 11.2.6 but it should work on any iPhone running iOS 11.2.6
1. Settings
2. Notifications
3. Music
4. Turn off “show on lock screen”
Done!
This solution worked for me and again in wife’s phone
Settings Notification. Music. OFF
Agreed it’s very annoy
Go to setting them notifications scroll to iTunes U and turn off notifications
After that turn off phone and turn back on
It work for me 👍-1F3FB;
Nope. Don’t have that. Hopefully it will help someone else, though.
Turn off your phone and turn it back on I just had this problem and turning it off and on made it go away
Tar daa...This did not work
Go to settings then Touch ID and password and then turn off voice control. After that reset your phone. It went away for me after that.
This has also worked for me so far. I have used Pandora and Bluetooth in my car and so far the player window has not reappeared. Thanks so much!! 🌈🙂
I deleted the music app, turned my phone off then back on. It’s now gone from my display screen.
Mine iphone was doing the same thing.... you have to go to settings scroll down to itunes and open it. Shut off the auto play button.. that should do it.p
If that dont work go back to Settings , -Control Center - Customize Controls ....
My problem was solved by simply restarting the phone.
What worked?
