I'm actually quite worried about this whole situation in general. I made the change from Windoze to Apple in 2006, when Steve was still in charge and on the ball. Over the last 12 years, I've watched as Apple products have slowly but surely become worse and worse, both hardware and build quality as well as buggy and bloated OS software. My worry is that if Steves vision is lost Apple may go same way as Windows, what do we do then?
I was seriously considering a mid range iMac Pro for 2018, but if they can't even sort out a simple (for them) issue with the OS that they've designed, I'm inclined to wait and see, even though my 2015 27" iMac now struggles to edit 4K since upgrading to HS.
If they dropped the constant obsession with lighter/thinner/smaller/MORE-EXPENSIVE and actually produced reliable, robust systems that professionals can rely on like they did back in the mid 2000's I'd be a happy chappie.
Jobs was all about the product, Cook is all about the money! Shame on you Apple.
