Hi,
after upgrade to high Sierra I have a problems with freezing. Previous week freeze two times, when I work with photoshop, now freeze, when have only browser opened, black screen, I must to turn off and turn on computer. Previous version Sierra works great.

Two things to test,
—Start in SafeBoot mode and see if it is isolated to extensions in your User

—open a guest account and see if the problem is universal

With this information you can figure a way forward.
Disabling TRIM support on my transcend external SSD seems to have stopped the freezes that I had on a daily basis. Running OS 10.13.3 on a late 2014 mac mini.
UPDATE: unfortunately I had a freeze today after a week. Disabling TRIM did not help.
I have noticed a delay with loading on start up. The loading bar pauses. It doesn't take anything like five minutes though. Interesting as I see we are both using Mac Pro late 2013.
I have verbose boot set sudo nvram boot-args="-v" so don't see the bar much but yes, Mac Pro and five minutes to reboot.
I also did a reinstall from recovery mode after 10.13.3 came out, and thought my freeze issue was cured, but alas I sat browsing a webpage and the screen went black again.

... updated to 10.13.3 latest (2/19) supplemental update ... went to be ... woke up in the morning ... frozen display ...
4GB ram on Mac-Mini 2014 and it freezes. 16GB ram on 2016 MacBook Pro no freezes. 8GB ram on 2012 MacBook Air no freezes, you could be on to something.
No. I have 32gb RAM on MacPro.
for me, my internal SSD was apple's (hence any firmware updates would come with the high sierra delivery) ... and any external SSD i had were NOT attached at the time the screen froze
My external drives aren't used for Time Machine. I have that disabled. I'm not sure we can eliminate external drives as a factor, but Time Machine isn't it.
I don't use any external drives but I have a problem with freezing. It most often occurs when I have multiple tabs open in safari but sometimes just when I have several word documents open.
Agreed totally. I can also play a DVD completely without interruption/crashing.
I say this in the naïve hope someone at Apple is reading this.
It's not just Java. I've encountered this with Google Chrome, working in the Finder, Spotify, etc.
*Fingers Crossed*: Went a whole week with 10.13.4 Beta 5 not encountering a freeze.
No commands on the keyboard works when this happens. I have tried them. The only way is a hard reset with the power button.
