Can't download new apps with iPhone 8 Plus

Hi,

I have a brand new 8 Plus. Everything is updated and turned on. I've gone to the app store a couple days in a row now, found apps I want to download, click them, use my touch pass to accept the download, and then they just spin. I l can leave it to spin for 10 minutes and nothing will download. I've rebooted the phone, hard reset the phone, made sure everything was on, logged in correctly, etc. Why is it not downloading anything new?

I’ve been frustrated for last two weeks trying to download new Apps to my iPhone 8+ and watching the circle spin with no results. I finally found a solution. I restarted my phone and on a guess turned off cellular data and tried App download with WiFi only. Worked like a charm. Loaded two new Apps to my iPhone in a matter of minutes. I suspect the iOS 11 security was blocking cellular data for some reason. In any event, WiFi alone does the trick. Best—GEO
