iTunes flashing password panel. Cannot login because of this. Already tried re-install, repair. Issue remain.

This works. I have had this problem for months with several versions of iTunes. None of the software giants really care about their customers despite their statements to the contrary. If they cared they would test their software before release and react to customer issues afterwards.

I had this problem on my PC Win 7 64 bit, reinstalled 3 times, still same. Disconnect from internet, was able to put my password in and deauthorized this machine. I have so much added music from CD's so I don't want access to the cloud. Worked perfectly for me in this instance.

didn't work for me, even after restarting the computer... I have the same problem on my laptop which is under Win7x64 and on my computer under win10x64 1709...

Did you have to rebuild your library after this? I have close to 28K songs on my machine and really can't face rebuilding all the playlists and ratings all over again 😟

Found out for myself, it doesn't wipe your library settings (although I saved a copy anyway). However none of the above worked for me either. It seemed to work fine until I subscribed to Apple Music.
