Finally! I found another thread... windows 10 itunes login fails (I'm on Win 7 but doesn't matter) that suggested opening in safe mode (Ctrl-Shift click on iTunes icon), which kind of (didn't) work BUT, after clicking cancel to all the log in prompts it did allow me to go to 'Account/Sign Out' and sign out of my account. I then logged back in and it seems to work (so far)

I had previously removed iTunes as per dingerk's post and removed any visual plug ins prior to this so hopefully this may help you.

Hi,

I fixed mine by going to task manager (ctrl, alt, delete). I ended "itunes" within the task manager list. After, I closed my task manager box. Then, I turned off my WiFi on my pc, waited 30 seconds, reconnected WiFi.

After allowing WiFi to fully connect, I pulled up iTunes with no problems/flashing ceased. Logged in :)
