The same happens with me. It should be a error.

Thank you. My issue is on the lock screen with an iPhone X. Native mail app messages disappear as soon as Face ID authenticates me while still on the lock screen rather than show the preview. I understand that I can swipe from center to reveal previous notifications but they shouldn’t be dismissed to begin with. Just want to understand if this is a bug and whether it’s happening to others.
I think I have an answer. Setting>mail>notification>Each mail account you have to Turn on Show on Lock Screen.
The Microsoft Outlook app shows a preview of the message on unlock. Considering the level of experience, I didn't expect this sort of advice.
Unfortunately, this bug is still present in iOS 11.2 (final release) on iPhone X.
Has anyone more information on what mailserver they are using? As I said, my affected account are all on Exchange Server 2007.
I have Exchange too (not sure the year) but I'm also having the issue with my icloud mail.
I’m having problems with my Exchange account only. Gmail on IMAP works correctly. Not sure the server version has any effect.
Happens here too. Another solutions seems to be removing and adding the respective exchange account.
For me it works normal after doing that.
Fixed in 11.2.5 beta! Finally!
Thanks for the update!
I've moved to Spark and it seems okay. Outlook has had issues.
Now that we've established all of these workarounds to use on this this $1000-1500 phone... I have a follow up question: how long do glaring these glaring, experience altering bugs typically linger?
As I mentioned earlier: it’s fixed in the new beta.
In the notifications for the mail uncheck Show in History.
