Custom lyrics not showing iOS 11.2

I'm making this sound more complicated than it is 🙂

Under iTunes Options for my device I check "Manually manage music and videos" and I cut and paste files from my pc directly into the music folder of my device.

My quick testing shows when I delete files that I added just a few days ago under 11.2.2 and repaste them in now under 11.2.5, the lyrics display after going through the multistep process to view them.

I have a lot of songs in my collection (~90k) and I carry about (18k) on my iPhone 8. I curate my collection very carefully (it’s a hobby), making sure the tag information is complete and correct. Fun for me and my family is gathering and playing music. Often I will get a question about a particular song. It might be about the studio, year, composer or the lyrics. The answer is usually something that can be found in the tag info or lyric. It is soooo frustrating to not be able to see that info. I carefully read through every page of this post and, unfortunately, nothing has brought back lyrics to my phone. So, a shout out to Apple, please fix this flaw in your product!

For the tryk to display the lyrics that Retxed24 tell above,

it is not necessary to display the rose title at the second level. Just chose your song and put and let th finger on the title. A menu appear with "Lyrics" if you are personal lyrics. But I find too that this tryk is working for almost all my songs, but for some songs, the lyrics menu is not displayed on my iPhone, but I can find them in my computer iTunes, and that even after a synchronisation. Had destroy all my songs from the iPhone and remake a total synchronization with chosen songs, but this problem persist. Some of my lyrics from ABBA are not displayed on my iPhone 6.

I don't understand. I can't find a reason for that.

After removing all my songs of ABBA from my iPhone and a resynchronization , I can again display my ABBA's lyrics.

But until when ? I could do that before 2 days and before this synch, it was impossible to display them. ( I removed all my songs from my iPhone 3 days ago, and reinstall theme with a iTunes synch.)

As I said earlier in this thread. All you have to do is hold your finger on a song and a menu will come up with options. Lyrics will be there if there are lyrics associated with the song. This works on an iPhone 6 plus.

hey all, i don't know if any of you have noticed the same, but it seems 11.3 completely fixed the whole lyrics issue, seems to be showing all lyrics ok now, without any issues

hopefully they will stay ok in future updates too

actually my concern is with Ipads. I got it working perfectly.

Yes. I seems it's work. The display is ok now. Thank's to Mac programers. Hope the Lyrics synchronizations problems are solved too. The future will show. 🙂
