This just started happening. I get a good amount of emails throughout the day in my Yahoo mail box and now it is saying no new messages. When I go to a desktop, there clearly are new messages. I have tried different WIFI accounts, cell data, restarted the device, hard closed the mail app and uninstalled and reinstalled the email account. When I reinstalled it, it updated to show current emails, but will not update again.

This worked for me. Thank you. I had to go to yahoo mail in my web browser, pull up my security settings, and enable 'Allow apps that use less secure sign in.' After this I was able to re-add my yahoo account to my Apple mail app.
Anyone find a fix? I’ve tried everything. (Uninstalled and reinstalled many times), updates server etc. I can’t get the mail on my phone for more than a couple hours after I reinstall the account.
This is killing me.. I just want my Yahoo Emails.. like I have always had!!
Same issue on my X. I also have a iPhone 7, on which I am receiving mails with no issues at all. Really surprising as both are on same iOS 11.2.5. Hope this is not any hardware issue specific to X.
It’s not just iPhone X. I have a 6 and since updating it last time I’ve had this problem. I’ve tried everything and it still won’t get my yahoo mail.
That's so odd it stops at a certain time....
I wonder if maintenance occurs then?
I have an iPhone 8 Plus and have the same exact issue. So its not just the iPhone X.

What to do if already updated via WiFi. This situation is very aggravating to say the least. I tried all the other steps but already updated the iOS through WiFi.

how and where you turn off Yahoo KEY? I was able to click the option saying allow less secure logins but can't understand where to disable yahoo key?
I did nothing and my Yahoo mail started working normally last week after a month of problem.
Has there been any confimation from Apple that this is an IPhone X specific issue?

Gmail is working fine. Just yahoo acting up on iPhone X.
I use yahoo and gmail across brand new iPhone x, 10.x iPad, and surface pro. Only the brand new iPhone is acting up. Fix it Apple!. So far, I am not impressed with iPhone x!
