Please make this go away! My lock screen is considered PERSONAL DOMAIN ... The reason we were given the lock screen background was to personalize our phone, and I, for one, do NOT appreciate APPLE taking the perogative to make it part of their own. I DO NOT USE ITUNES, nor is my phone a music device. Please remove this. Thank you!

I know what is on my screen, and I have NO music apps on my phone as they were all deleted. I do not use music apps ...still the 'Now Playing' controller IS showing with no music apps installed on my phone. It does not even show a song title on the controller as is should if/when a song is selected, it is blank. So ... I AM NOT playing music and the controller IS there. My only alternative is to wipe my phone and hope that another Apple glitch will be resolved by another radical response to an update that will 'improve' my joy of owning an iPhone.
Not true. I have all music turned off. All notifications turned off. Bluetooth off. It’s still in my lock screen.
Wow, condescending much? I’m not playing, nor have I played, music since I rebooted but the Music controller appears on my lock screen too.

i just deleted the itunes app that's what worked for me
My wife just fixed this for me. She removed the iTunes music icon on my quick bar and rebooted my phone. So far so good!
Do a had reset. Press the home button and the power button at the same time till the phone turns off.
Worked for mine. Hope this helps.
What worked for me was to close all apps and the to a hard shutdown using the home button and the power button.

Totally agree! I just bought a car that has Bluetooth. Never had this issue before as the car is the only Bluetooth device I use. The soft reset works until I connect back to my car.
Hold the Home and shut down buttons until apple logo appears. Once its reloaded, music app should be gone.
View in Locked Screen is not available. I 100% agree that this is should not happen.
I have the iPhone 7 and all I did was turn my phone off and back on. I know that sounds ridiculous but it worked.
