Trackpad and Keyboard Disconnected Due To The Bluetooth Keyboard Setup Tab

The trackpad and keyboard on my 2014 MacBook Pro 13- inch are unresponsive and every time I turn on my laptop it says this! Someone please help. I have turned off my laptop and held down the P R buttons to shut down the laptop, but no luck. I need help. Really irritating that this is happening. I can’t even move my mouse to press the shut down button.

I understand that the trackpad and keyboard no longer work on your MacBook Pro. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

I recommend that you reset your SMC using the steps in the article below:

If you continue having this issue, try booting into macOS Recovery:

About macOS Recovery - Apple Support

If you are unable to boot into macOS Recovery, or your trackpad and keyboard don't work in macOS Recovery, then contact Apple Support for additional help.
