iTunes 12.7.3 is frozen on launch and cannot force quit

I have updated to iTunes 12.7.3 and also macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. My iTunes is frozen upon launching it and even when I force quit it doesn't quit. Is there a fix for this?

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

You could try and restart your Mac in Safe mode to check and isolate system issues

to troubleshoot. This should also try to self-repair some aspects of macOS... re-start

normally to further check the system. Also, look into system logs for error codes.
