AirPods won’t Reset

This happened to me. Clean the sensors in the bottom of the AirPod case with a q-tip. Them continue with the resetting process.

This is probably because the case isn’t recognizing one of the AirPods so try clearing the inside of the case and bottom of the AirPods

thanks . first i cleaned with cotton swab but it didnt work. then I cleaned with alcohol and it worked like a charm :)

Try holding the reset button down while the case is open. That worked for me.

Clean the connections on the AirPods and inside the case with a Q-tip and alcohol. That’s all it was for me.

An update of IOS on my iphone, together with a reset on the airpod eggcase solved the problem for me. I suspect that One of the pods became wet and I had to let them dry up for some time anyways

I had the same issue. It turns out that my right AirPod was defective. I took it out of the case was able to pair it with just the left AirPod. Luckily i had an old set (i lost the case too) and was able to use the right AirPod from that set and it worked just fine. I guess if one pod is inside and not working nothing works

I finally fixed my left not being recognized problem:

1. forget device

2. put only the right one in case

3. press and hold button until flashes white

4. paring animation shows up on phone, then put left one in case

This was helpful because I had applied a decal sticker improperly to prevent the contacts at the Airpods bottom from having unhindered contact with those of the charging case. This is important for resetting and ensuring proper Bluetooth connectivity.

oh thats easy, in fact all the airpods problems can be fixed in one way, try to use all the battery to 0%, til u cant see the light on or nothing working, then charge it and it will be back to normal, i used to have a display problem with my airpods case, it only shows 5% even it fully charged and it also fixed it using this way

Hey! Try cleaning your airpods with a q-tip with a dab of alcohol inside and outside the charging case.

Debris can be blocking the sensors for each tunnel for the pods.

I have found a solution.. Connect Your AirPods to someone else AirPod Case.. Then put your AirPods back in your case... My right AirPod was dead the whole time my case just wasn’t showing it

It’s the cAse Try using a friends case to pair your pods to your phone

make sure that the lid of the AirPods is up. You can also try disconnecting and forgetting them in settings

Ive had the same some time ago. You need to let the battery fully deplete for airpods and egg, and when charging again you can get the reset to working.
