But that never happens. I have the same problem as the original post, except my right AirPod won't work and they won't reset. I hold the reset button and it slowly flashes white, never flashes amber. I can hold it for 2 mins to no avail. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

In order to fix all you have to do is open the case hold the reset button and take out 1 air pod, if the light turns green keep holding and take out the second while putting the first one back in. If the light stays white, leave it in and take out the second one. do it a few times until you see the light start flashing white. I’m surprised no one has figured this out yet lmk if works for you guys too because I just fixed mine.

I had the same issue. One Airpod was not detected so I taped "forget the device" then I tried to reconnect the Aipods to my Iphone but it was not working. I tried to reset the Airpods but I couldn't see the status light flash becoming amber. I guess it was because the one Airpod not connecting at the beginning was still unable to reconnect and the case wasn't letting me reset the Airpods. I carefully cleaned the stems of the Aipods and the bottom of the case (where the stems connect). Then I put back the Airpods in the case, closed the case and reopened it and I was immediately able to reconnect the Airpords directly from the Iphone. I hope this will help.

This happened to me I tried everything and kept getting mad I found out my left AirPod kept making it flash white and I kept resetting it but that wouldn’t work because it couldn’t detect the left AirPod so then I tried cleaning it and it looked like nothing was really there and it’s the AirPods Pro so the hole is bigger but I got a q tip and cleaned it very aggressively because I was very mad and it worked idk how but I also held the button for a minute but after cleaning the hole and the bottom of the AirPod it worked and connected again so I recommend trying that

Cleaning the case and/or pod connectors does not help. I have tried this so many times, I have lost count. I wouldn’t know about the charge because I cannot pair them with anything. Obviously, that is my original problem. Thanks for trying to help but this solution is not working for me. I would appreciate if someone could provide new solutions.

I have just cleaned the again for about the last 20 minutes!! Wiped and wiped with alcohol and QTips! @Klutzyduck.. this time I was even more vigorous as you stated! Finally!!!!!!! They paired to my phone!!! It must have been a microscopic piece of dust! Thank you all... because of your persistence of the same solution I kept trying this over and over!!!

thank you everyone!!!!

Finally fixed mine. Tried every other solution I found online -- didn't work.

My problem: Airpod Pros not pairing with any device. Case fully charged and cleaned. White light flashing whenever open but wouldn't even show up in Bluetooth lists.

My solution: Put both Airpods into the case, lid open. Hold the reset button. After 10 seconds of holding, close the lid of the case WITHOUT letting the button go. Continue to hold for another 10 seconds. Then let go of the button.

Others have posted cleaning tips inside the case and the pods themselves and it seems to have resolved everyone's issues who have tried.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend clorox like another poster mentioned, I mixed a small bowl of soap and water (dish soap) and with a Q-tip, dip the q-tip into the solutions and clean the inside of the case well (damp, not wet like a bath). Allow to dry and clean again and also clean the outside of the AirPods and then dry. Put it all back together and close the lid for about 10 minutes. Now try to reset with your phone.

My Air Pod Pros have developed a fault where the audio keeps swapping between the left and right ear bud. When I try to reset by holding the button down for 15 seconds, initially I get a green light that goes out after a few seconds and then nothing. no flashing amber or white light, nothing. Air Pod Pros won't reset. Any things else I can do.
