Random thumbnails of pictures have suddenly become pixelated. Not a direct FCP question but many of the pictures are used in FCP. I have thousands of photos in various folders and many of their thumbnails have suddenly become pixelated. (This is nothing to do with the Photos app which I do not use). This has occurred a couple of times in the last 15 years and I cured it simply by deleting something (maybe a thumbnail cache?) but I can't remember what. It was certainly a quick and easy solution. Can anyone remind my ailing memory how to do it? The screenshot demonstrates the problem as the first thumbnail is crystal clear whilst the second is badly pixelated.

I have the same issue. Some of my thumbnails in Photo's are complete Red. On the photos I can see, when I click on them to view then they quickly turn completely RED.
