I cannot restore my files in iCloud to the desktop. They keep bouncing back to the Cloud. I mistakenly archived all my desktop. I can see my files in iCloud but cannot get them back. How do I get them back? Using 10.13.3.

Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support
Turn off Desktop and Documents

> System Preferences > iCloud.You can also check System Preferences/iCloud/iCloud Drive/Options to see if Optimize is on. Try turning that off.
