Adding Location to Calendar Event auto-search & fill has stopped

Adding Location to Calendar Event ...previously when I started to type Location for a new event, Calendar would search first through my Contacts, or recently used locations or then in my local geographic area. This is no longer happening and I have tried finding a way to turn it back on, if in fact I inadvertently turned it off. Now I have to manually type in every Location address. I recently upgraded from the 7+ to the X, I am not sure if Location search auto-fill stopped when I upgraded or after the last iOS update. Help.
