Dell KM717 bluetooth keyboard on a MacBook Pro (2017)

Hi,

I am trying to connect a Dell KM717 wireless keyboard and mouse to my MacBook Pro (2017) via bluetooth.

I managed to connect the mouse but having issues with connecting keyboard. The keyboard is discoverable throughout bluetooth on Mac. Once I press connect keyboard in the Set Up Bluetooth Keyboard tab, I am prompted to enter a numeric combination on my keyboard, followed by return button. After entering those, connection process begins, but fails after a few seconds.

Is it possible to resolve this issue?
