Logic Pro X No Audio/Plugins/etc
I'm a user of Logic Pro since the 9 series. Never had problem's I couldn't get out of, but yesterday the strangest thing happened. I updated to 10.4 this morning and have been running High Sierra for two weeks now without trouble. The troubles started on Logic Pro X version 10.2.4
I was having audio in/out working fine after which I bounced a quick instrumental version of a mix. From that point on Logic Pro X (10.2.4) crashed and after a restart I couldn't access my plugins (not even logic native ones and unable to open plugin manager to do a rescan). Also my regions weren't playing any sound.
Opening a new project I usually get the option to specify my in- and outputs. Right now I can only use midi as output on my interface (Tascam us 144) and the internal mic of my macbook and built in output are not functioning.
My interface works fine with Itunes, the regions in my project play perfectly in finder preview. Right now I've updated to 10.4 and still experience the same problem.
In the audio preferences menu: "input monitoring only for focused track, and record-enabled tracks" is checked, but can't be unchecked. Same thing for "software monitoring".
I am absolutely stuck on this one and wasted a recording session yesterday. In the screenshots you how my startup for a fresh project looks.
Halp!
