Try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows.

I don't recognize your description of an error message. iPods are not migrated. You should move your library from your previous computer to your new one to avoid the risk of losing the data that is on your device. If your media isn't stored in your local library see Recover media from an iPod.

I've replied to your other threads, although presumably iTunes is successfully installed now. You can attach screenshots by dragging and dropping them into a post or use the small camera icon in the editor.

See also Corrupt iPod Classic which has some thoughts on troubleshooting issues with iPod classic. Probably worth checking the HDD stats to analyse the health of the drive.

Thanks, I've not dived into that particular diagnostic area before. Other than actively selecting the correct driver as outlined in the earlier link I'm not sure what to suggest. If you put the device in disk mode does it show as a drive in Windows, and can iTunes then see it?

The pending sectors should be cleared by restoring or reformatting, after you've recovered any data if this is still possible. The overall reallocation count is good, although max. temp shouldn't have been allowed to get over 50C.
