I got message:“NIHardwareAgent” prevented updates being installed. What should I do? I use Native Instruments as a plugin on Logic Pro X.

I got message:

“NIHardwareAgent” prevented updates being installed.

I use Native Instrument as an AU plugin on most projects.

What should I do? The choices are "Install" (and I guess override the NIHardwareAgent) or "Not Now"

LOGIC PRO X, iOS 10.3.2

Thank you for your response. I saw that comment. The answer said

If you have any files listed there related to NIHardwareAgent, then delete that and restart your Mac.

I wonder if this is safe. I am using a NI audio interface. Does that matter? Will deleting those files make something not function? I've never gotten this message in the past....
