Since this morning I'm having this problem wtih my Iphone, I already restart the phone, it still no working, everytime I try to turn on the Tuch ID I have that error "unable to activate touch id on this phone, please come back and try it again"

It's a hardware problem. Make an appointment at the genius bar. Note that if you had the display and/or home button replaced by anyone other than Apple, they will no longer service it and Touch ID will never work on that phone again.

How I got mine working was I took it to Apple an they just factory reseted it but I mean u can do that yourself but u have to make sure u have everything backed up n then u factory reset it n it should be working after if it’s a software issue if not it’s a manufacturing issue n u have to replace the screen professionally

Took my iPhone 6 to the Genius Bar today-same issue -all software updated-they said my home button needed replaced but in order to do that -the whole screen would need replaced-for $129:(
i opted out as the funds aren't there. Halfway home(2.5 hr drive to the Apple Store) - my screen goes black/can't reboot as the home button is not functioning/ cant make phone calls with the keypad but Siri is responding To my hey Siri...???.. Can't get the screen to come on. (I'm using my dinosaur iPad to try to find a solution) This *****!!!
Replacing the screen won’t help, I did it, the only home bottom which works it’s the original, I just lost my money

Yes, it did it, but unlucky, it stopped again around 2 days ago.. don’t know if I should wait until it starts working again or what to do
Alright thanks lemme know if u figure out a solution for now I have in mind to take it to the Apple store and hopefully they have a permanent solution
it appears you are correct.-unfortunately i don't have enough cashola to support the repair. I guess a Go Fund Me Campaign is an option😊.
