Facetime/iMessage password not working

All of a sudden, FaceTime and iMessage won't accept my Apple ID password, which does work when I log into my Apple account. I'm using these programs only on my MacBook, not my phone (android right now). I even chnaged my Apple password, and both Facetime and iMessage won't recognize that either.
