Youtube App extremely zoomed in

When opening the Youtube app on my apple TV, the interface is extremely zoomed in. Opening the sidebar on the app takes up half the screen to give an idea of how zoomed in it is. It still functions correctly but because its so zoomed in, it's very difficult to actually use properly.

I don't believe it is a resolution problem with the apple TV itself because every other app and the home screen appears normally and it is only when opening the Youtube app that this problem occurs. I tried reinstalling the app but the problem still persists.
