Easter does not show on my iPhone calendar

I have an iPhone 7+ on iOS 11.2.5 and Easter is not on the calendar. I have checked US Holidays in the settings. Why is Easter the only holiday NOT on the calendar? It's more significant than April Fool's Day, which IS on the calendar.

You won't find most religious holidays on the US Holiday calendar. You won't find Easter, Good Friday, Hanukkah, etc. You can find religious holiday calendars available in the App Store.

It takes seconds to add the dates you observe your religious observations and you only need to do it on one device before it replicates across the rest. The Calendar app does not prevent you from doing this. Your question has been asked and answered but here it is again:

Easter is not Shown on the iPhone calendar because Apple is under no obligation to add any religious observations of any faith, but you can add them manually. Furthermore you can let Apple know of your concerns on the feedback website.

So there it is; asked and answered.

Have a Hoppy Easter! 🙂

Apparently it is not a shameful issue, it is some type of bug. Some people have Easter in their US Holidays calendar and some do not. My US Holidays calendar is under iCloud calendars and several other people I checked who have Easter are the same configuration. Others have it under something different and no Easter. Why Easter is not on the calendar would have to be answered by those people that create/program the calendar, Apple. However, this is a user to user support forum, and Apple does not participate here. Speculation about Apple services and decisions is prohibited by the Terms of Service of this forum. To get the real answer, you would have to ask Apple.

Early this Morning, @AppleSupport tweeted the following reply in regards to Easter not appearing in their US Calendar:

“We'd be happy to look into this with you! To start, feel free to DM us which device and OS we're working with, and we'll go from there:..”(tweet included Twitter link for DM)

After I DM Apple Support, they replied:

“Thank you for reaching out to us. We’ve heard reports of the behavior you're describing, and it’s currently under review. We don’t have a solution at this time, but recommend that you keep your software up-to-date.

Thanks for reaching out to share your feedback with us.”

Glad to see some are happy with their calendar now fuller...

{The Support article I'd seen about Calendar suggested each

country had its own version; or use info there to import one

from google or other sources had been an option of a sort.}

Not sure if all versions of the Calendar would show recent

additions, only those using iCloud; unless recent download

update. I've not checked my most-recent Mac calendar;

and my iPad Mini1.1 (iOS 9.3.3?) didn't show Easter, etc.

Noted there were listed iOS calendar apps, but didn't look.

Maybe from my iPhone -- to cruise through App Store?

I prefer analog mechanical automatic watches, and paper

calendars because they both work when power goes out.

Pay to have a vintage means to see when duh holidaze, is.

We've nearly always celebrated 'hoppy eatster' too.

A friend's retriever down the road a bit, a Lab who liked

to bring stuff back and also barked a lot. I renamed him

'Sir BarksAlot' ~ it stuck: He also arrived when called.

So hopefully those who don't use iCloud calendar across

their iOS and macOS devices, can get along with an App.

Perhaps Vatican has an App, with real Easter, Lent & etc?

I'm not buying it...!😎
