I have an iPhone 7+ on iOS 11.2.5 and Easter is not on the calendar. I have checked US Holidays in the settings. Why is Easter the only holiday NOT on the calendar? It's more significant than April Fool's Day, which IS on the calendar.

You won't find most religious holidays on the US Holiday calendar. You won't find Easter, Good Friday, Hanukkah, etc. You can find religious holiday calendars available in the App Store.
I'm aware of that. All the more reason it should be on the calendar.

Creating a custom event for Easter just requires entering manually for each year. Personally the only things I really care about are birthdays. I don’t really need a calendar reminder for holidays.

If they don’t do religious holidays why is Christmas Eve & Christmas showing up on mine . But not Easter? Does Apple have a problem with Just Easter for some reason?

Easter, along with a bunch of other “days,” are showing on my calendar all of a sudden. I have not done any updating. Not sure how to explain it. But Apple listened. ♀

How can I get out of this discussion? The problem was fixed by Apple. Now everyone that post something about it I get a email.

Go to the top of the page. Tap on the button that says Following. It should change to Follow. You won't get further notifications.
Yeah Apple listened so now we all have to see every Christian, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, Greek Orthodox and every other holiday because people flipped out over Easter not showing up. I have now turned off the US Holiday calendar.
