Can no longer control click to Show Package Contents

I used to be able to right-click or control click and select Show Package Contents for my apps, but this is no longer possible after upgrading to High Sierra 10.13.3. It doesn't even open a menu when I control click anymore. Also, I can no longer delete some files by control-clicking and selecting Send to Trash. It's a real PITA. As a developer I need to be able to access Show Package Contents to add other resources to my builds (I don't use XCode). Is there another way to access the Package Contents to get to the Resources folder?

I figured it out. Believe it or not I must have been clicking on the apps' icons. When I clicked on the actual text of the app, I get the menu. Sure was wondering why it seemed to work for some and not others. Don't remember that mattering before. I thought I always clicked on the icon to prevent it from selecting the text. Thanks for your help.

Problem is the same whether in Safe Mode or not. I do not have admin privileges to add a Guest account so I can't try that right now.

I believed you. I just said it shouldn't matter. Nor do I understand why it matters on yours. It's not normal.

I've never seen that before and have no idea why that works, they are the same element as you can see when you choose the application.

My guess is Luis may be correct and the Wacom drivers are messing with the cursor.

Just to add, the version of VirtualBox is almost 3 years out of date.

Right, but these were the Wacom drivers listed for 10.13.3. That's all I had to go on.
