Ripping my CDs I wanted to add a digital booklet to one of them, again. Meaning I did this before. You had to drag the PDF into iTunes, select "Books", change the media type to "Music". After that you've been able to change the attributes so it would show up in your iTunes right along with your album.
In iTunes 12.7 however, there is no "Books" anymore and if I drop the PDF onto them its nowhere to be found.
Ideas anyone?

Prior to iTunes 12.7 digital booklets added to the library would have been added to the books section of the library, on Windows at least. I can't recall testing on a Mac where iBooks was already installed. If I add a new PDF now to iTunes 12.7.3.46 it won't show properly in the Songs collection, even though the media kind is apparently set to music, but it will show in smart playlist showing recently added media of all kinds. Use Get Info to change the media kind to podcast, click OK, then change media kind back to music, and finally add the missing album, artist, and album artist details to make it merge with its album.
