2012 Macbook Pro - Running slow

My 2012 MBP has started to noticeably run slow. I have 16 GB of RAM and my hard drive is only 64% full so wondering what could be the cause of the problem. I am aware that my battery needs servicing and am wondering if that may be the cause of my problem but I am not sure this could be the root cause. I live in South America so going to the Apple Store to ask for a solution is not an option. I did find a distributor here who does sell Apple batteries which is good because most distributors don't want to deal with the shipping regulations. I also plan on switching over to SSD within a month or two but before I do that, I would like to resolve any issues my computer is having so it does not carry over. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I removed Sophos and here are the results but is there anything that could also be a problem?

Oh yeah, I am ordering a new battery and will replace it at the same time that I replace the hard drive with an SSD. I did not realize that it was Sophos was making my laptop run slow. That said, it was a very good virus detector but then again I have only had one incident with a probable virus and as far as malware only that piece of junk MacKeeper which took me forever to uninstall. Thanks for your help.
