Unknown error signing into iCloud

Last week, my iMac informed me that there was a problem with my iCloud connection. My password was not working. I reset it. It works on my phone and iPad, but I am getting an "Unknown Error" on my iMac when I attempt to sign in to iCloud. Has anyone seen this?

"An unknown error" when trying to sign in to my Apple ID on mac. Hi - I have "An unknown error" when trying to sign in to my Apple ID on mac. No problem on my iPhone. Discovered problem 2 days ago, as various emails could not update. Eventually managed to sign out and then create new password - but reoccured. I had managed to check emails after the reset, which was problematic, but mail would not close down. Had to force shut down. Re-opened MacBook Air today, to find same problem again. iCloud and gmail accounts not opening, can't access keychain etc. Most of my documents and photos are stored on iCloud, so could really do with help please. TIA

my iCloud account is all buggered. It won't let me log in and I cannot log out either no matter what device I choose.

Same issue here. Wasted entire day trying to resolve. My calendars won’t sync until I can sign into iCloud on iMac. This is making me rethink apple. Was windows tiis bad?

After upgrading to Mojave I keep getting this error, but not every day. I have logged out of iCloud then back in again. Shut down, rebooted... Still having this error. Frustrating.
