Hi Brendan at Apple,

I'm having the a similar problem as PJ. For me it seems to be since the most recent iOS update a few weeks ago.

I've followed all the guidance available I can find all the internet. I've reset everything (inc my network settings), I've reinstalled the app etc. But I'm still not able to listen to music on Apple Music. I'm finding it really infuriating now because I'm paying for something that I can't use and I don't feel that's acceptable.

Please can you help, thank you 🙂

Hi there, user12081991!
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue with your music not playing and with downloading music in Apple Music and I am happy to help out! I recommend you check out this article with steps for How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and close the Music app.
Once that is done, Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch then check to see if you are still noticing the issues. Also, check to see if the issue happens on your Wi-Fi network.
Let me know the results and take care!

Hi Brenden,

Thank you for your response, i tried with the the article which you mentioned. Still facing the same issue.

I tried to download with the Wi-fi and it is working fine but only with mobile data it is not.

I tried to download tunes from the i-tunes store, there i am able to download with my phone internet.

It is just that my apple music is not working.

I checked for the settings as well and everywhere mobile data is enabled.

Thanks

PJ

Hi Cirocband!

This (loosing your library music) normally happens every time you sign-out from your account. After signing-in again, you should be able to reactivate iCloud and recover all your library after a few minutes (i have gone though this every time I switch between my two different accounts in the AppStore).

Be sure your Music, ITunes and your AppStore account are the same; but if you are getting another kind of error while resigning in, maybe you should just write Apple directly — that’s an issue I haven’t experienced so far :-/
