no "sharing and permissions" avialable

All of a sudden I cannot access permissions on any drive but the main MacHD. I have searched for answers but cannot find any. The disk utility's permissions are greyed out, and there is no "sharing and permission" access in the "get info" window. Everything works except the permissions.

I discovered this when my VM stopped recognizing ISO's and then my mac side would not mount them either. The only drive that I can access permissions on is the Macintosh HD.User uploaded fileUser uploaded fileUser uploaded file

The entry at the top is rohupo (Me) with r/w privileges. That should not appear on a startup volume. It is a security risk. Anyone knowing your password has unlimited privileges on the entire drive. Open the little lock icon, select that entry, then click on the Delete [-] button below the list.

I have no idea about your reported problem.
