Outlook icloud addin not working on windows 10

I recently purchased a new PC....sorry apple, I would love to buy a mac but please, please, please update your QuickBooks software and I will purchase a mac in a heartbeat!


Anyway...after setting up my PC (Gateway XPS) and installing iCloud for Windows, I cannot get my icloud addin for Outlook to sync with my email. I previously was using an older PC running Windows 7 which was upgraded to Windows 10 without a problem.


After installing iCloud, it prompts me to repair iCloud in settings and reboot. I have done this several time without any change. You know what they say about insanity!?!?!?!


I love using iCloud because it keeps all of my contacts, calendars etc. in one place and across all of my devices. I also have an iPhone 7 plus and several iPads. I use each of these devices to send emails. It is really necessary that I have my contacts on my PC as well.


Any suggestions or a fix to this problem would be appreciated!
