USB ports

I have a 2015 Macbook pro 2.7Ghz intel core i5 with 8GB (OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5) that’s works great! Suddenly yesterday, both USB ports do not recognize charge cord to connect my iphone & iPad. I‘ve tried different charge cords and they work when plugged into wall plug. This will be a problem since this is how I back up my devices.


Solutions?

See if resetting the SMC helps.
