Cannot stream music with iphone on a Renault R-Link

Does anyone have this issue? I have a 2016 new version Renault Megane with R-Link 2, ever since the latest iphone update I have not been able to stream music through bluetooth, currently iOS 11.2.6, it will connect and allows the phone to be used but if you try to select bluetooth as a media option nothing happens, in the menu it shows the phine connected but is greyed out as unavailable.

It has been back to the dealer and they have no idea why but seem to think that Renault have stopped iPhone support, somewhat frustration considering I now have a Bose soundsystem i cannot take advantage of, so far this has been going on since last October, every time there is another phone update I do then update in the hope that it will finally get it sorted but never does.
