Reset iPad and now getting remote management

I bought my iPad from eBay over a year ago, set up as a new iPad and had no problem. Recently it began blogging down and locking up, so I decided to reset it. I was locked out of the resent by being under remote management by some company in Germany. I found a bypass on the internet and it now works fine with no problems. I believe I was hacked when I accidentally responded to a phishing email.
