FXCP Proxy files showing up in main directory

Hey all.

Recently, FCPX has been placing weird proxy files in the main directory instead of the Final Cut Proxy Media folder. See attached. The actual proxy rendered files are in the correct folder.

I've edited GoPro footage for years and have never seen these files. As I understand it, FC creates an optimized version of the original file in ProRes (standard) usually. It also creates a ProRes proxy file - smaller resolution and bitrate for faster editing.

GoPro files are H.264 files natively. FC should handle those like any other h.264 file - it transcodes it into optimized file and proxy file and places it the respective folder in your library.
