Any way to incorporate Music memos directly into Logic Pro? Would love for Pro to analyze and produce drums and bass directly.
You can open the Music Memo with a bit of a detour - first to GarageBand iOS, then to GarageBand for Mac, then Logic.
No you can save it as you want....
1/ Mixdown - (single file with bass/drums included)
2/ Audio FIle - no bass or drums
4/Garage Band - includes all three tracks - Audio,Bass, Drums.....
So yes you can import the tracks separately
The transposition and the tempo track also is imported into Logic....

That is what I meant - I share the music memos as GarageBand files, but thenI have to open the shared Garageband project in Logic, not import it.
Sure..Logic provides an import option specifically for Music Memo Files....
But that does not import the tracks separated, unmixed. You will import an audio file as a single track.

Hi, and thanks for your reply. I may not have been clear in my question; I want to record Musicmemos directly FROM Logic. It seems Logic Pro could contain the same ability to analyze, say a guitar track recorded directly. Thanks again.
You'd better ask that in the Logic Pro X Forum. Since your question was in the GarageBand iOS forum, I assumed you want to record the memo on an iPad or iPhone.

Thank you. So my wish for Logic engineers is to build the Musicmemo capabilities right into Logic. Assume no phone, no pad, only a Mac.
