Malware Popup in Safari

How do I remove malware that pops up in Safari? It’s the one that says ”Congratulations, Amazon.com user”.

I notice it most when clicking on an article in an email (no particle email) that opens an article in Safari. Help!

I am on an iPad Air, running the up-to-date software.
