macOS High Sierra freeze on iMac late 2009

For the last few months my wife 27" iMac with El Capitan is freezing using finder and random applications, mouse moving but the only way is to restart the computer as nothing responding.

I had that issue on my 27" 2010 iMac and after clean install of High Sierra, SSD and ram upgrade i didn't had any issues (it was two weeks ago). hoping it will solve my wife iMac freezing issues i have upgrade her computer to SSD

,did a fresh install to High Sierra and reset the SMC but the same freezing issues. the freezing is random but also when she use high demanding application scetchup and vector works. i have ssh runing htop and can see the CPU reaching full usage whit random application. i run EtreCheck it say the system is obsolete see attached report. at the moment it has 8GiG Ram the only thing i can think is to upgrade the ram to 16GiG (if this model supported ?)

Hope if anyone can help check the report and see if you can suggest a solution

Thank you
