Can you set up a new iPad using an iPhone backup?

i am purchasing an ipad pro and was wondering if i can set it up using my latest iphone backup in icloud. i want pretty much the same apps etc, etc on my new device.

need ios 16 to set up new ipad from icloud backup I have a new iPad Pro and an iPhone 13. I want to set up my iPad using iCloud backup rather than backing up from my other OLD iPad. iPhone is backed up as of last night, but new iPad won't let me access that backup because the new iPad IOS is 15.6 not 16. ICloud Backup Can an iCloud Backup made from my iPad recently, be used to restore my iPhone? Can that iPad Backup also be used to configure a new iPhone?
