Slow Mid 2012 Macbook Pro

Hey guys. My MacBook keeps having issues with beach balling, apps taking a long time to open and close and general lagging issues including when I type. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to be frustrating. I have removed some adware I found and lowered the amount of apps that open up when I start up the Mac. That seemed to help a bit. I'm not that familiar with all this so please let me know what you see and what you recommend from the EtreCheck. Thanks in advance!

I think Allan Eckert has lined it out very well.

After you rectify your immediate problems consider Upgrading to more RAM (16GB max) and a 6G SSD (with new SATA cable)

The cost to upgrade these user replaceable parts has never been more cost effective.

The 2012 is considered a real work horse, including DVD superdrive, USB3 ports, SDXC card slot, SATA 3 - 6Gb/s, Intel 7 chipset:

The first thing I suggest is you backup everything at least once, twice would be better.

You need to fix your corrupt file system.

If after using Disk Utility to try and repair the file system, if Disk Utility is unable to repair the corruption, it might be necessary to reformat the disk drive and reinstall the backup.

After you get the corruption of your file system repaired, you might want to consider increasing the amount RAM in MBP.

You have numerous 32 bit apps that should be upgraded to 64 bit version soon because support for 32 bit apps is going to be dropped.

Thanks for the advice. Everything has been taken for action except for the corrupt file system. I tried to use disk utility to repair possible issues and nothing came up on that end. I reinstalled the OS and completed a Safe Boot and the corrupt filesystem is still popping up. Is reformatting the next step even though disk utility found no issues?
