hi, can any one please help. When streaming airplay music from my iPhone X to HomePod the music stops after the screen locks.
I then have to unlock the screen and press play to start the music again. I tried changing the lock time on the iPhone X but the maximum I can extend it to is only 5 minutes. Cheers.
Thanks for your reply. I probably should have mentioned I'm streaming from both Spotify and tidal using airplay. It's strange, it plays music for about 2 minutes after the screen locks then cuts out.
It does this with both tidal and Spotify.
This is app dependent. For example the YouTube app works fine for background playback, but if you use AirPlay from the website, it usually stalls.
