iPhone X badge app icon not working

Mostly just on one app. The twitter app. I’m getting push notifications but the badge app icon is not showing and it’s set to on. It worked fine on my iPhone 6s but since I updated to iPhone X it’s not working and I’ve tried everything to fix it

Badge on iphone SE App Store icon not working properly I have IOS 15.5, and have tried all sorts of App Store and notification settings to get the icon badge to show. The only I can get it to show at the moment is going to Updates on the App Store app, and pulling down to refresh. This is a bit of a pain - especially if I forget to do it every day and am either faced with loads of updates, or another app isn't working properly and I discover it needs an update. The one time I thought I had cracked it, it lasted for a couple of days but now it's back to not showing unless I go into the app and pull to refresh. Any ideas, anyone?

Badge icon not working on Messages app The badge icon has stopped showing on the iPhone Messages app. All notification settings have it enabled so it should be working. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and it says it is up to date with version 15.5

IPHONE NOTIFICATION BADGES NOT SHOWING Notification badges stopped showing for certain 3rd-party apps. I've updated my operating system, set all the correct notification options, uninstalled and reinstalled those apps. I have "background app refresh" enabled for all of the apps. This used to work properly and then stopped working after an operating system update. For the affected apps, everything else about notifications is working properly (banners, etc.) except the badges. It's as if the app is asleep, because once I open the app and close it, the missing badge will appear. iphone 13 pro (the problem also occurred on the previous iphone 11 pro) iOS 15.6

I see that you're not receiving notifications from the Twitter application on your iPhone X. I'm happy to help.

About Notifications on mobile devices -- Make sure you've set up Twitter to notify you of the things you'd like to see. See if the Notifications app on your iPhone notifies you now.
