Since I updated my MBP to High Sierra, the computer no longer recognizes the projector I connect via the Thunderbolt>VGA adapter. I've tried 3 different adapters.However, it recognizes the VGA monitor that's connected to a Thunderbolt hub.Anybody know what gives?

Since High Sierra, MBP no longer recognizes projector.

Since I updated my MBP to High Sierra, the computer no longer recognizes the projector I connect via the Thunderbolt>VGA adapter. I've tried 3 different adapters.

However, it recognizes the VGA monitor that's connected to a Thunderbolt hub.

Anybody know what gives?

MacBook Air 2014 won’t connect to projector Hello. I have a MacBook Air (early 2014). I am trying to connect it to my 2013 Epson projector. I have it connected via thunderbolt-> HDMI. When I got into display setting there is no “arrangements” tab to select the projector. My old MacBook 2010 had this :( All my googling shows the display settings window had this “arrangements” tab but my MacBook doesn’t. Help! Any idea how I can get my Mac to connect to external display?

MBP to Projector I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) running macOS Big Sur 11.1. I also have an NEC LT30 projector, which is an older model with a VGA connector and an S-video connector. In trying to get the MBP to communicate with the projector, I have tried using two different HDMI to VGA adapters. Both times, the display on the computer just blinks in and out (like it's connecting, then disconnecting), and when the HDMI is plugged in, I cannot use the trackpad to navigate the desktop. Also, nothing comes up on the projector (it says "No Input"). I have tried rebooting both devices, without success. Any ideas on how to make this work?
