Apple Keyboard Connection Failure
Both my wife and I have experienced this problem within the last two weeks. We will be typing using the Apple smart keyboards we purchased with our 10.5” iPad Pros and suddenly, for no apparent reason, the keyboard disconnects from the iPad. Keyboard input is no longer reflected on the iPad’s screen. The problem does not affect the software keyboard or touchscreen input using finger gestures. The problem is not confined to any particular application. We have been able to restore operation by shutting down and restarting the iPads; but for people who write for a living suddenly having no response to hardware keyboard input and losing recently input text is more than annoying. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
