Title: Spaces and Mission Control: Finder Window Behavior

Hi:

Sorry for what is such a dumb question, but I'm slow at learning this high-tech stuff.

I LOVE the "Spaces" feature, especially when working on a small laptop. It's is so convenient to have Mail in one space, Sierra in another, iTunes in another, etc.

However, when I open a finder window it shows up in every space 99% of the time. How can I (or can I?) set up a particular Finder window so that it shows up in only one space, not in every space?

If you control-click the Finder icon in the Dock and look at the Options sub-menu, you can select how Finder windows work relative to different desktops ("spaces").
